As SCM Customer Experience Agent your main responsibility is to provide first class level of customer service to our clients, professionally and efficiently always and in accordance with documented procedures. You liaise with other key parties including third party suppliers and other Maersk LNS offices around the world. Innovating and looking for new ways to improve the service we provide to our customers is core as well as increase business efficiency. You work with the commercial client owners to ensure all parties are aligned regarding the service delivery expected and delivered.

Key responsibilities:

Execute and develop the Standard Operating Procedures for each client and constantly review for potential improvement for our SCM customers.
To ensure that all sales invoices are raised in an accurate and timely fashion in line with the company policy and client requirements.
Ensure all supplier purchase invoices received are processed within the guidelines stated in the quality procedures.
To ensure each shipment generates the maximum contribution by keeping a constant focus on meeting the required service level at the lowest possible cost.
To constantly review working processes with the aim of making improvements and ensure all key work processes are documented correctly in the intranet.
To produce internal and external reports and statistics as required including client KPI reporting.
Support the client in problem solving by building an in depth understanding of their business and the problems that impact on it, reacting in a manner which improves the outcome from the client´s perspective.
Proactively identify challenges within the clients process which we manage and suggest possible solution to optimize the process.
Represent to the client an a positive “can do” manner. If specific requests cannot be accommodated identify alternative solutions providing a similar result and present these to the client as a possible solution.
Ensuring compliance with our core values, processes and operational procedures, compliance with relevant regulations (safety at work, working hours, regulations, etc.).

Who we are looking for

Fluency in English and Italian is a must as you will work closely with Italian customers.
Experience in a customer facing role, ideally within the logistics industry.
A good understanding of logistics and forwarding products, solutions and terminology.
Proven track record as customer service agent, capable of driving (cross functional) process improvements and turning around dissatisfied customers’ experience.
Proven track record in a matrix, multi-cultural organization, building strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally.
Developed communication, persuasiveness, influencing and negotiation skills.
Has strong needs evolution and questioning skills.
Demonstrable ability to handle most common customer objections.
Self-Motivated and performance driven.
