About the Job

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the supply chain process, including communication with suppliers, coordination of warehouses and delivery services, and preparation of essential documentation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and have a strong understanding of supply chain operations.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

Communication with suppliers and freight forwarders regarding the packing and shipping goods
Issuing documents for goods that are procured and shipped (prices calculation, issuing offers and delivery notes/packing lists, providing documents to freight forwarders)
Communication with the warehouse
Warehouses, suppliers and freight forwarders coordination regarding dispatching goods
Fill in Intrastat reports
This special position will be focused on the Department of Research and Development and Warehouse in fulfilling their needs in procurement to support the daily business.
Ensure and control accuracy of data in ERP system related to operations in Oroslavje
Search for new suppliers for existing and new products
All other tasks assigned by supervisor

Preferred Skills + Experience

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a supply chain or logistics environment.
Experience in using ERP systems, especially modules related to SCM, Logistics is preferred
Experience in purchasing/selling different technical related products is preferred
Knowledge of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and transportation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with suppliers, delivery services, and internal teams.
Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with Intrastat reporting and regulations is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
