The Marketing Communications Associate will support the Marketing Communications Department in executing and optimizing communication strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage customers, and drive revenue. This role involves assisting with various marketing communication activities, including content creation, social media management, public relations, and event coordination. The Marketing Communications Associate will collaborate closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure all communication efforts align with the company’s marketing goals and brand identity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in developing high-quality, engaging content for various marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, website content, social media posts, email campaigns, and press releases.
- Support the management of social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and responding to comments and messages to engage with the audience.
- Help coordinate public relations efforts, including drafting press releases, building media lists, and maintaining relationships with media contacts.
- Assist in planning and executing corporate events, promotional activities, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and engagement with external stakeholders.
- Support internal communication initiatives to foster employee engagement and alignment with the company’s goals and values.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing communication campaigns using analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights to optimize future efforts.
- Help manage marketing communication projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for communication initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and opportunities for marketing communications.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing communications to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations, or a related role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience in supporting marketing communication campaigns and activities.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong writing and content creation skills to develop engaging marketing materials.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for business use.
- Basic understanding of public relations principles and practices.
- Good organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and translate findings into actionable insights.
