Senior SAP IS-U Software Developer

In this senior role, you will provide expert advice and supporton complex energy industry processes, focusing on E.ON's billing and invoicing workarounds. Together with our existing development team, you will drive the implementation of innovative software solutions into our systems and play a key role in the transformation of our billing processes.

What you will be doing:

• Provide independent advice and support to departments on complex energy industry processes, focusing on billing and invoicing
• Conceptualize and coordinate the implementation of innovative solutions in the billing and invoicing environment, collaborating with consultants and service providers
• Manage the configuration of pricing for various energy products across different sectors
• Drive the transformation of billing processes in SAP IS-U for the energy industry market role "sales"
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment

What you're bringing to the table:

• A technical university degree or equivalent education/experience
• Several years of experience with SAP IS-U, with a focus on billing
• Programming skills in ABAP/ABAP OO
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team
• Ideally deep understanding of energy industry contexts and end-to-end sales processes
• Proven expertise in developing and adapting tariffs for billing different product specifications and legal requirements
• Teamwork, flexibility, and customer orientation are second nature to you
• Initiative and the ability to handle challenging tasks
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; bonus points if you speak German
