Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Peak Performance: Conduct detailed inspections and perform necessary maintenance on turbine blades to prevent breakdowns and enhance energy output.
• Perform Precision Repairs: Address any damage through meticulous repair work, using advanced techniques tailored to the unique challenges of each blade.
• Uphold Safety and Quality Standards: Strictly adhere to safety protocols while maintaining the highest quality of work. Your adherence to our stringent safety and quality standards ensures not only your safety but also the reliability of our turbines.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with other technicians and supervisors to ensure that all maintenance and repairs are documented and communicated effectively, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of our wind farms.

Your Profile:

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of mechanical systems, particularly those involving composite materials like fiberglass and carbon fiber used in wind turbine blades. Experience in blade repair or a related field is highly preferred.
• Physical Fitness: The role requires working at significant heights and in various outdoor conditions, often requiring physical endurance and the ability to handle equipment safely and effectively. You must be physically fit and comfortable working in challenging environments.
• Certifications: Certifications such as IRATA for rope access, GWO for safety, and specific technical training in blade repair and maintenance are highly regarded. Continuous learning and skill upgrading are essential as technologies and methods evolve.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and implement repairs efficiently under pressure. Your analytical skills will help you troubleshoot and maintain turbine performance at optimal levels.
• Adaptability and Resilience: The work schedule might include unconventional hours and settings, requiring flexibility and resilience. Your ability to adapt to rapid changes in the work environment is crucial.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments. Proficiency in English is essential for understanding technical documentation and reporting.
• Safety Mindset: An uncompromising commitment to adhering to safety protocols is mandatory. You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of workplace safety and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Certifications: Certifications in rope access (e.g., IRATA) and blade repair (e.g., GWO Blade Repair) are highly advantageous.
• Physical Capability: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work at heights.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Croatian and English necessary for effective communication.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for travel-related duties.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Croatia and available for occasional EU assignments.
