SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for leading design projects, developing creative concepts, and producing high-quality visual materials that support the brand and marketing objectives. This role involves mentoring junior designers and ensuring the consistency and quality of all design outputs.

Key Responsibilities: 

  Developing creative concepts and visual solutions for various design projects, including branding, marketing collateral, print materials, digital assets, and other visual communication materials.

• Designing and producing brand assets such as logos, typography, color palettes, and visual elements that reflect and reinforce the organization's brand identity and values.
• Designing and producing print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, and signage, as well as digital materials such as website graphics, social media assets, email templates, and digital ads.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and other content teams, to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audiences, and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Providing creative input and design expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from initial brainstorming and concept development to final execution and delivery.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design, and incorporating them into design projects to ensure relevance, innovation, and creativity.
• Continuously refining and improving design skills through self-directed learning, professional development opportunities, and peer collaboration.
• Organizing and maintaining a centralized repository of design assets, files, and templates, ensuring version control, file naming conventions, and accessibility for team members.

Candidate Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field. Equivalent work experience or specialized training may be accepted.

Experience :

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a creative agency, design studio, or in-house creative team.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including branding, print collateral, digital assets, and other visual communication materials, preferably from the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or similar tools.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Excellent design skills with a keen eye for detail, composition, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to conceptualize and develop creative concepts from initial briefs to final execution across various mediums and formats.
• Proficiency in both print and digital design, including layout design, illustration, iconography, and image editing.
• Knowledge of current design trends, techniques, and emerging technologies in the field of graphic design, preferably within the international hospitality industry.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
