About the role

• As a team leader you will be part of a network engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, highly available network architectures that meet Banks business objectives
• The Network Engineer should be expert in network infrastructure and security technologies
• The goal is the implementation of a software-defined network and integration with other supported IT environments

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operation and maintenance of the existing network infrastructure in area of LAN / WLAN / WAN based on Cisco/Huawei components
• Operation and maintenance of the existing security infrastructure in area of Firewall/VPN/Proxy/ADC based on Cisco/Symantec/F5 components
• Adaptation of network components to new requirements such as software-defined networking, cloud infrastructures (AWS)
• Further development of the network architecture as well as the corresponding monitoring systems
• Create and maintain technical documentation for the network environments, including network diagrams, installation, and configuration procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and operational procedures

What You’ll Need

• Experience in leading a team or interest in stepping into a team leader role
• Understanding of LAN and WAN environment, which includes Routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and Switching topologies, Wireless, Ethernet
• Understanding of security technologies Firewall, Proxy, VPNs (IPsec, DMVPN, SSL and others)
• Understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
• High degree of proactivity, self-initiative, and entrepreneurship
• Teamwork and good communication skills
• Knowledge of spoken and written English
• Driving license B category

Nice to have

• Knowledge of programming languages - Python, Tcl
• Understanding of SD-WAN and/or SDN solutions
• Professional certificates in network technologies (not a requirement, but a significant advantage)
