QA ENGINEER (M/F)

Now, we are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough manual testing of mobile applications (iOS/Android) and backend, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements
• Conduct API testing using Postman to ensure backend services function properly and meet performance standards
• Perform SQL queries to validate data integrity and ensure backend functionality is operating as expected.
• Write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, scenarios, and plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, identify risks, and create effective test strategies
• Analyze and document test results, logging detailed and actionable bug reports using tools like JIRA

Qualifications you bring:

• Proven experience in manual testing, particularly for mobile (iOS/Android) and backend/API testing
• Strong understanding of API testing tools like Postman and the ability to design and execute test cases for backend services
• Experience with intercepting proxy tools for debugging and testing (Charles, Proxyman, Burp Suite...)
• Proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation
• Familiarity with GitHub/Azure DevOps for version control
• Experience with New Relic for backend services or Firebase for mobile
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to spot issues and suggest improvements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Bonus Points For:
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated tests with Selenium, Appium, and/or Playwright, including authoring, debugging, and stabilizing suites
  • Proficient in Python and able to write clean, maintainable code for test automation, utilities, data setup, and API helpers; JavaScript acceptable but not preferred
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and an understanding of how to integrate testing into continuous delivery processes
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing tools and methodologies
  • An understanding of BDD practices
  • Previous experience in fintech or a high-paced, product-driven environment
