LIBURNIA’S NEW GROWTH CHAPTER & MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
As our company embarks on a new growth chapter, we need to expand our capabilities in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing communication strategies that enhance the company’s brand, drive customer engagement, drive employee engagement through communication and support business growth. Hence, we are seeking a Director of Marketing Communications to join the Group Marketing Department at Liburnia Hotels & Villas. This role involves leading the Marketing Communications team and overseeing all aspects of marketing communications, including public relations, content creation, digital marketing, social media, and internal communications. The Director of Marketing Communications will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure all communication efforts align with the company’s vision and objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication strategies that align with the company’s vision, objectives, and brand identity.
- Oversee all brand management activities to ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
- Manage public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communication to build and maintain a positive brand image.
- Lead the creation of high-quality content for various platforms, including website, social media, email campaigns, print materials, and multimedia.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and online advertising to drive traffic and engagement.
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement, alignment, and a positive corporate culture.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns that promote the company’s services, properties, and special offers.
- Oversee the planning and execution of corporate events, promotional activities, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing communication initiatives, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management with actionable recommendations.
- Develop and manage the marketing communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for marketing communication initiatives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing efforts and ensure quality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing communications to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing communications team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing communication strategies and campaigns.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content management systems (CMS), and web analytics tools.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing communication performance.
- Ability to create and oversee the development of engaging content and creative marketing campaigns.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and strategies clearly and persuasively.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop effective marketing communication plans and address complex challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
