As a Backend Developer , you’ll join a continuously evolving, large-scale project that has been improving lives by connecting buyers and sellers for years.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who is proficient with technologies we use in Njuškalo:

• PHP 8.4
• Symfony 6.4
• MySQL
• Elasticsearch
• Redis
• Git
• Docker

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• An interest in creating and improving user flows
• Solid understanding of how frontend frameworks work and interact with backend

How We Work

At Njuškalo, development is organized into cross-functional teams that include frontend developers, backend developers, QA specialists, product owners, and mobile developers.

These teams are designed to foster collaboration, autonomy, and ownership, enabling seamless end-to-end product delivery. Each team works closely with Data Science to solve complex challenges and deliver value to our users.

Along with the Croatian version of the application, a Slovenian version (Bolha) was also developed. Both versions of the application are developed from a single repository with a simple exchange of themes, currencies, languages and available features, which further facilitates simultaneous development on both platforms.

Education is ensured by constant quality control and mentoring by team members and knowledge sharing between teams is ensured by continuous internal meetups and internal and external educations.
